Evencia A. Janvier
Evencia, known as Evey, is a Brooklyn native who moved to Florida in 2000. Her career began early with roles at JC Penney and Banana Republic, where she excelled in sales and leadership. After earning her associate’s degree, she joined Comcast Business in 2017 as an inbound sales representative. In 2018 she completed the Linked to Leadership program and soon after she was promoted to Inside Sales Supervisor and transitioned to a remote role due to COVID-19. In 2021, she advanced to Senior Business Account Executive, which led her to Pompano Beach and the Chamber of Commerce. Evey quickly became an active member, joining various committees and being named an ambassador. In 2023, she joined the board of directors and was also recognized as Small Business Champion for Jell-E Shots, a mobile mixology business that she began in 2019. Evey is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management with a focus on entrepreneurship and this year she participated in Leadership North Broward, where she brought innovation and enthusiasm to the program.
Outside of work, Evey enjoys skating, traveling, and spending time with her family. In 2024 she has traveled to destinations including Costa Rica, Jamaica, New Orleans, and Puerto Rico.
