Director of Member Services
“West Philadelphia born and raised” is how Marianne Miccoli answers when asked where her accent is from-not NY! A proud Philadelphian, in 1995 she bought her home in Old Pompano because of the historic area, but mostly for the beach and ocean.
Marianne was a paralegal for 38 years with Maritime and Criminal law as her favorites. She was a licensed realtor in PA but chose not to continue upon moving to Florida. She was an elected official from 1980 to 2017 and enjoyed serving her constituents. Serving became her motivation for volunteering with the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce as a volunteer for 14 years and now in her 12th year as an employee!
At the Chamber, she is the liaison for all 5 Enterprise Groups, the Ambassadors, Sister Cities, and her proudest achievement – the Construction/Contractors Lunch, now in its 8th year and well-respected in the industry. She procures new members in her spare time J
Marianne’s favorite hobbies are sports, Irish pubs, and Italian restaurants! Her heart lies with the animals and to that end, she joined PETA in 1985 and continues her activism for animal rights. Her heroines are Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey, who literally gave their lives to the animals. She wishes she could do more…
